Variété : Also called Chamaerops excelsa. 7 to 8 meters long stem terminated by a bouquet of round segmentated leaves with petiols. Grows in temperated wet climate. Some trees have resisted to temperature as low as -24°C.

Immerse the seeds in water for 10 days. Sowing in a warmed greenhouse. Temperature must be of 20°C at night and 30°C during the day.
