Espèce : Grows in acid soils.

Variété : (Rhododendron Japonicum). Deciduous. Orange-red flowers. Bonsai.

Conseils de semis :	Sow in earthenware pots on a mix of sand, peat and mould. Cover with a thin layer of fine mould. Water by pulverization. Put the pots in a cold greenhouse at 5 to 10°C. Starting from April, ventilate without never letting the temperature exceed 15 to 20°C.
Rusticity :	Very rustic, down to -15°C and less
