Variété : Large tree with a smplintery bark. Pale green young foliage that become glossy and hardy. Tolerates acid soils. Resists down to -15°C.

Stratify the seeds at 4°C during 30 to 40 days. Sowing on a sterilized porous, filtering substratum. We commonly use a sterilized mix of sand loam and mould. Cover slightly the seeds and keep them at 18/20°C.
