Why is it so difficult to find tree and shrubs seeds in gardening shops ?
It is simply because most of the seeds have to be kept in a dry and cold place. This is the only way to guarantee their quality. In some cases such as for poplars or willows, seeds are very fragile and die after a few hours (that is also why poplars and willow are most often propagated by cuttings). At the opposite, eucalyptus seeds can be kept many years.
For this reason, we keep our seeds in a cold room and we make sure that that temperature and hygromety remain constant. Seeds are packed only after we receive our customers' orders.
It is also important to mention that our supplying and the gathering of tree seeds depend strongly of the natural conditions in the world. Tree seeds have to be gathered in the fields and depend on the level of fructification of the year.

We gather ouselves some of the seeds we sell but most of the seed we propose are gathered by our partners from all around the world. Seeds come from every country according to the seasons and the weather. We cannot then ensure you the availability of any seed at a special time in the year.
We then advice you to place your orders as soon as possible in order to maximize your chances to get the seeds you want.
